Who are you?

Marco Polo Malta is a brand new 114-bed hostel located in the most popular area of Malta - St. Julians'/Paceville. Marco Polo Hostel began in June of 2016 in the heart of Malta's prime resort of St. Julian's. With our multiple stories, rooftop bar, and planned group activities we do our best to provide the full Malta experience for our guests. We love to explore by day and party by night, but often enjoy lazing around on the beach or reading a book on the balcony.

What are you doing?

Marco Polo Malta offers backpackers and travelers the perfect base to discover all that Malta has to offer. Close to beaches, nightlife, restaurants, and bus stops, it’s easy to get out and explore. Or, spend the day relaxing on our large rooftop terrace drinking a mojito in the glorious Mediterranean sunshine. We organize regular activities like BBQs and theme nights at the hostel followed by a pub crawl, and can assist you with boat tours, hiking trips, diving adventures, sailing trips and more.

Initially it would be a temporary stay, but Marco Polo ended up being my home for more than two months, and there I met incredible friends, my real second family. Pleasant atmosphere, great location, comfort, cleanliness, fair price, a great relax area, an interesting bar, and incredible staff...I highly recommend it.
